Balikpapan, June 10, 2008 – Telkom has won bandwidth supplying tender for The 17th National Sport Competition (Pekan Olahraga Nasional/PON) information management system at East Kalimantan, July 2008. The tender included 6 Mbps Astinet service, 4,3 Mbps VPN IP and 20 Speedy hotspots. Before it, in a different contract, Telkom was pointed by PON information management application supplier to prepare 6 Mbps Astinet and 3,5 Mbps VPN IP. The total bandwidth that will be prepared is 19,8 Mbps.
The tender was written on tender fulfillment letter number 08/PBPONKT/PAN-BP/BW-IT/V/2008. The fulfillment letter was given by Head of PPTI Division, East Kalimantan Promotion and Investment Institution, Tri Murti Rahayu to Executive General Manager of Telkom Enterprise Division, Deny Rudiana at Golden Palace Restaurant, Blue Sky Hotel, Balikpapan (6/6).
At the same occasion, Tri and Deny also signed MoU of ICT Infrastructure Procurement and Contract of Astinet Subscribing for East Kalimantan Promotion and Investment Institution Office. Then, The Competition Committee will publish Bandwidth Procurement Letter at Tuesday, June 10, 2008.
