Cirebon, February 11, 2010 - “Kuningan Regency shall not lose from other Regencies about human resources quality,” said Head of Kuningan Regency, Aang Hamid Suganda when officially opened TELKOM-Republika CSR Programm “Bagimu Guru Kupersembahkan” (Gift for Our Teachers). This program was held for the 5th class of 4th period. The programm took place in Prima Resort, Kuningan on Thursday, February 11, 2010.
According to Aang, Kuningan Regency’s society was well known as good adventurer and diligent person. Based on its modals he expected them not to stop increasing their capabilities in many aspects of life. In order to motivate them, of course It will need good theacers. Teachers who will share their knowledge, especially after participated in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Training from TELKOM-Republika CSR Programm. But he also asked the teachers to give their attention about the negative aspects from ICT implementation.
In the same occasion, Assistant Vice President External And Community Relation TELKOM, Dodi M. Gozali said that the training was a part of TELKOM CSR programm. The expense of the programm was taken from TELKOM’s profit. The training was not related to the school curricullum. It was held in order to decrease ICT anxiety in Indonesian education sector.
For about fifty teachers from Kuningan Regency participated on the training. They were given by lessons about communication effectiveness, the creative way, good personality, popular writing and ICT introduction.
