Those activity was taken place in Pasraman Ped, Nusa Penida on Sunday, February 14. Some speaker was attended to gain spirit from youth in Nusa Penida.

Until now, Nusa Penida’s youth have not maximized their abilities. They also have not taken advantagous yet from Nusa Penida’s natural resources, such as sea. None of them was willing to be a sailor. It was different from Bangli’s youth condition. Altough they did not have sea as their natural resources, many of them were sailors. This could be a chalenge for Nusa Penida’s youth.

Head of Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Bali Area, Gede Wiratha said that work on a ship was a golden chance. Sea was a commonplace for Nusa Penida’s youth. So there will be no obstacles for them to be a sailor.

Because of the needed of ICT especialy for youth in Nusa Penida, TELKOM have planned to make some ICT training in Pesraman Ped. For the information, TELKOM has provided internet connection there.

I Gede Negara also said that there were a lot of business can be arranged by internet connection. Bali as one of well known tourism destination have to be promoted by the the internet too. It was a potential aspect to be concerned.
