West Java’s Corporate Forum for Community Development (CFCD) chaired by H. Eddy Mulyatno who is also a Manager of Telkom’s CDC Partnership Distribution confirmed that the Green Tour tracking coffee bean planting and plucking area has involved 11 BUMN and national private companies as members of CFCD West Java, in which CFCD have donated 14,400 seedlings to be planted on the community-owned-critical area along DAS Citarum at 36 Ha and in an initial step by CSR program, the 47 BUMN as well as private companies as members of West Java’s CFCD organize 3 aspects such as economy, social and environment to go green the DAS Citarum area to be a priority and national program to handle urgently due to such a critical condition, said Eddy.

In the Green Tour, he continued, they could see directly the DAS Citarum area from the hillside, members of CFCD also planted the seedlings and plucked coffee bean cultured by PT. BUMN Hijau Lestari-I. 

Meanwhile President Director of PT. BUMN Hijau Lestari-I, Ir. Zulfi Ramlan Pohan, accompanied by Business Planning & Development Director, Ir. Ali Rahman, explained that his side has committed to improved the community welfare by good and sustainable environment management by a concept of agro-forestry as a go-green method utilizing many types of forest plants involving all community’s potentials in the surroundings.

By a principle of Rebah Tuntas, a plan from below and a guide from above using the community’s participation, BUMN Hijau Lestari-I have successfully planted 1.6 millions of seedlings on the community’s land at 3,813 Ha involving not less than 7 thousands of families under 215 groups of partners (MKM) and 27 Cooperative Groups, he ended his explanation.
