CSR Telkom Facilitate Indonesia's Modern Cooperative Development

Serang (Banten), July 11, 2012, Synergy between CSR Telkom and Telkom’s Business Unit and Banten Provincial Government was launched for the content of cooperative development in fishery and livestock, waste process to cope with PKBL/CSR environment program and Indonesia’s modern cooperative program, held on Wednesday (11/7) at Penyirapan Baros Serang, Banten Province.  
In the development program also present officials from Banten Provincial Government, Head of Cooperative Department and UMKM, Moh. Basri, Head of Cooperative Department and UMKM Financing, Head of Cooperative and UMKM Development of Banten Province, Sudarto, Officials from Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University and 40 Cooperative Body of Banten Province, and from Telkom CDC Unit, represented by CD Area-2 Jakarta-Banten together with BSR II Team, Agus Wijaya and Didik Irawan.

Chamber of Commerce of Cooperative and UMKM of Banten Province, Moh. Basri, in his speech said that this program was intentionally packaged in village area. “I want to come to the village to see directly an economic development in the village, to improve cooperative existence, and hope Telkom with its CSR Program for Partnership and Environment Building may also play an active role in enhancing SME and Cooperative in Banten Province”, he said.

Head of Cooperative Department and UMKM Financing, Sudarto, said that the SME and cooperative business players at 890.000 all over Banten, almost 30% of the total SME and National Cooperative, now making an inventory to the Banten Cooperative and SME, and a team has been formed at eight Districts to collect and input data, and the data processing result will be tabulated at each district/city to further compiled at Provincial level, this is an important step to implement properly the CSR program and other programs in SME and Cooperative development throughout Banten area.
 
In the session of Telkom’s CSR description presented by Agus Wijaya from CD Area-2 Jakarta-Banten, the attendants are interested in the speech particularly in the discussion about Partnership Program how to be a patronage partner of TELKOM’s SME and Telkom’s CDC responsibility.

In the next session, KMI Channel Partner, Abdalah Irham, confirmed that Telkom with the Indonesia’s Modern Cooperative (KMI) program always ready to support the Cooperative with a commitment zero investment through a series of application from Finchannel, DELIMA, Ticketing up to voucher top up. “Telkom Indonesia is ready to launch Cooperative at Banten to be an Indonesia’s Modern Cooperative”, he ended his speech.
