CSR Telkom : "Deployment of creative economy, penetrate overseas market"
Jakarta, June 24, 2012, By the closing of “Amazing Nusantara Products 2012” held at Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) Senayan Jakarta on Saturday (23/6) at the same time as the event of International World Stamp Championship and Exhibition (WSCE) of 88 countries participating, Telkom also participated by placing 12 patronage partners to provide Indonesia’s specific merchandise for souvenir when the participants going back to their own country.
WSCE, due lack of publication only having a few visitors, particularly the philatelists, but some of Telkom patronage partners’ stands have successfully recorded an indirect sale with overseas participants like Canada, Cezc Republic, Bhutan, Sweden and Rumania, for a large number of products like Sagitria Collection displaying specific full hand made “Kelom Geulis” products from Tasikmalaya, which according to its owner, Ana Nuryana, he side has got an order for 200 units of products at IRD 180,000,- each or a total USD. 4,000 to be finished within 40 days, meaning Sagitria has successfully penetrated overseas after Japan and Korea.
From other stands like Hj. Risnawati, patronage partner of CD Area-4 Central Java & Yogyakarta from Pekalongan consistently displaying products of batik, silk and cotton fabric of specific Pekalongan up to the day-6 has sold at an amount of over Rp. 8,- millions, while special milk for health and medication, upon the result of development by DR. Diana Hermawati, M.Si from Bogor, has had a good response and the product displayed was directly sold.
