TELKOMIntercarrier products consumed by OLO are the products upon the use of Telkom network for the need of either interconnection traffic transmission or telecommunication operation from the operators themselves.
Products of TELKOM Intercarrier provide benefits as follows:
a. For OLO, the benefit is as follows:
Interconnection with TELKOM will improve network utilization among operators. Network utilization is supported by the external network by expanding customer contact. Operator with narrow coverage network may take benefit from interconnection with broader network.
Optimum utilization of TELKOM network by applying principle of same treatment, balance and mutual benefit.
b. For telecommunication service subscribers:
Improve accessibility towards broader and various telecommunication network such as fixed and mobile telecommunication network and even other networks that will develop in line with development of technology.
Products of TELKOMIntercarrier are divided into two major categories, those are:
a. Traffic Conveyance, that is, products of TELKOMIntercarrier having sensitive transaction towards the traffic or volume. b. Network Service and Support Facilities and Support Service
Product of Telkom Intercarrier for Traffic Conveyance consumed by network provider is called Interconnection. It includes interconnection among network providers (domestic), international interconnection with global partner, IP interconnection and service connection for products required by Service Provider.
For Network Service, all OLO with all operating license categories may use products from this Network Service. While Support Facilities and Support Service are now designated for OLO network provider making interconnection with TELKOM network.
Users of TELKOMIntercarrier products are two OLO, those are, Global Partner as Network Provider and Domestic OLO either as Network Provider or Service Provider.
