Jakarta, May 7, 2008 – The Asia Pasific Conference and Exhibition (Apconex) 2008 at Jakarta Convention Centre officially opened by The President of Indonesia, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (7/5). The Apconex which was held by Perbanas is titled “Towards a Less Cash Society”. The Opening Ceremony of Apconex was also attended by The Minister of Economic Coordination, Boediono, The Governor of DKI Jakarta, Fauzi Bowo and The Senior Deputy of Bank Indonesia Governor, Miranda Goeltom.
At the same time, Telkom signed some cooperation letters with 'Syariah' Banking Division of Perbanas about mobile banking “IB Online” and also with banking and finance consulting companies such as Bank BTN, Jakarta Consulting Group, Adira Dinamika Multi Finance, Mega Central Finance and Bumi Asih Jaya Asurance.
