Jakarta, March 27, 2008 – Departement of Communication and Information (Departemen Komunikasi dan Informasi/Depkominfo) held one day seminar about “Internet Protocol Based Convergence: The Future of Telecommunication” on March 26, 2008. The seminar, which is taken place at Depkominfo Head Office, West Merdeka Street, Jakarta, officially opened by The Minister of Communication and Information, Muhammad Nuh and The General Directorate of Post and Telecommunication, Basuki Yusuf Iskandar. One of the speaker is Telkom’s Director Of Consumer, I Nyoman G Wiryanata.
On his speech, The Minister told about the last improvement of porn sites bloking plan. Not only porn sites will be deleted, but also another negative sites, such as many sites which had anarchist and religion discrimination content.
Meanwhile, Nyoman tried to explain Telkom readiness to face the increasing of global trend through INSYNC 2014. According to him, world convergence would be happened in 2012, not only on the terminal but also on the wider scope. Nyoman also added four important factors
